Grief is natural when losing a friend, family member or someone who has made an impact on your life.
Grief isn't just in your mind, it's physically in your body.
This unit in English 10 we read Biography of X by Catherine Lacey and explored a chosen theme. Our group focused on the effects of grief and the purpose of art. With these themes we researched, we connected them to the book and wrote our own short stories and essays that you can read below!
Even though grief can die down, it will never fully be overcome; the person you are grieving will always have a place in your heart even if you eventually move on. Every type of grief is acceptable, there is no reason to be ashamed of how you grieve or even who you grieve.
