We started this project by researching grief and collecting sources to understand its emotional, psychological, and physical effects. Next, we created an annotated bibliography by summarizing, evaluating, and connecting each source to our overall theme. Finally, we used our research and literary inspiration to write original short stories or essays that explored our theme.
Student B
My name is Student B and I prefer She/Her pronouns. I have researched the effects of grief and I chose this because I believe everyone grieves differently and should not be ashamed of their ways of grieving. I like to dance and I also like to play volleyball and basketball.

My name is Student E. I chose to research the purpose of art because I love creating art and it has a deep meaning in the world. I like softball and Dunkin Donuts.

My name is Student A. I chose to research about the effects of grief because I believe that grief is a topic that is decently easy to speak about, especially with the book we were reading. I love playing basketball with friends and driving.

My name is Student C. I chose to research about the effects of grief because I feel as if grief is an experience that cannot fit into one category; there isn't a handbook to follow when experiencing grief. I like to read and spend time with my family.

My name is Student D. I chose to research the effects of grief because grief is something almost everyone experiences even though it can feel lonely. I love going to the beach and playing volleyball.
