Workshop in Digital Holographic Microscopy

Biomedical research has enabled the development of advanced imaging technologies. These new imaging technologies allow us to gain new insight into our biological systems. Before proposing innovative imaging systems, one should understand previous imaging systems, with deep knowledge of their advantages and limitations. This workshop describes Digital Holographic Microscopy, a widely used technique in life and material sciences.

In this workshop, I have lucky to be accompanied by Dr. Carlos Trujillo from EAFIT University (Medellin, Colombia) and Dr. Sharon King from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The workshop consists of 6 different seminars:

Seminar 1 - Imaging Modalities

Seminar 2 - Widefield Microscopy

Seminar 3 - Quantitative Phase Imaging

Seminar 4 - Advances in DHM hardware

Seminar 5 - Advances in DHM software

Seminar 6 - Deep Learning in DHM
