I highly encourage you to communicate with me if you have any questions about the course or assignments at any point during the semester. You will find the link to email me in the left toolbar labeled "Inbox". This is the Canvas Inbox, and it is my preferred contact method.
If Canvas is down for any reason, you may email me at tmassimo@ohlone.edu. Please only use your Ohlone student email. If you use your personal email, then there's a good chance it will be automatically moved into my spam folder, which means I won't respond.
I also have a TA. His name is Joshua Ho, and can be an additional contact person if you have any questions or concerns about the course. You can reach him at jho45@student.ohlone.edu.
Email Etiquette
When emailing me, please use proper English grammar and spelling. (Do not use texting short hand, such as "can u help me w/ this assignment")
Prior to emailing, please check the syllabus - in case your question may have already been answered there.
Write "Dear Professor Massimo" or "Dear Dr. Massimo" at the beginning of your email, followed by a blank line.
Please be clear with your message. (For example, "I don't know how to do this assignment" vs. "Could you please clarify this part of the assignment?". Note that the first example is ambiguous, while the second example is a well-defined request.)
Do not use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
End your email with a closing ("thank you", "best", "sincerely", etc.), followed by your name.
