President Standard of Boredesia

The President is the Head of State and has to tell a State of the Union address to the Maktei and the people of Boredesia once a year, outlining the successes and challenges of the previous year and their plans for the coming year. If the President is unable to fulfill their duties due to illness, incapacity, or death, the Secondary President shall assume the role of Acting President until a new President is elected through democratic means. The President of The Democratic-Republic of Boredesia is bound by the Constitution and the laws of the land, and their actions can be challenged by the Constitutional Court if deemed unconstitutional. Overall, the powers and responsibilities of the President of The Democratic-Republic of Boredesia are significant, but they are also limited by term restrictions, the advice and consent of the Maktei, and the Constitution.

Secondary President

Secondary President Standard of Boredesia

The Secondary President also has the power to represent the President in their absence at diplomatic events and negotiations. They can also sign treaties and agreements on behalf of the President, with the approval of The Maktei.

In addition, the Secondary President is responsible for overseeing the functioning of the Maktei and ensuring that its decisions are implemented. They may also have the power to veto a decision made by The Maktei, but this veto can be overruled by a two-thirds vote in The Maktei.

Overall, the power of the Secondary President is significant but limited. They can act as the President under certain circumstances and have a tie-breaking vote in The Maktei, but their authority is ultimately subject to the decisions of the elected members of The Maktei and the democratic process of the Republic.

Department of Defense: The Department of Defense (DoD) is a federal government agency responsible for protecting the security of The Democratic-Republic of Boredesia through the use of military power. It is headed by the Secretary of Defense and is responsible for coordinating and supervising all agencies involved in national security and defense, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Its mission is to provide the military forces needed to deter war and to protect the security of the country.

Department of Education: The Department of Education is a national department of The Democratic-Republic of Boredesia's government that is responsible for coordinating national assistance programs for education, enforcing educational laws, and collecting data on schools and students. It was established in 2022 and is headed by the Secretary of Education, who is appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. The department oversees K-12 education, special education, higher education, and vocational training programs. Its mission is to promote student achievement and prepare students for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access.

Department of Agriculture: The Department of Agriculture is a national department of The Democratic-Republic of Boredesia accountable for conceiving and implementing national strategies concerning forestry, farming, and food. Its fundamental objective is to foster agricultural trade, maintain sustainable agriculture, ensure food safety, develop rural areas, and encourage the advancement of Boredesian agriculture and farmers. The BNAD is also responsible for implementing plans associated with nutrition, rural housing, food aid, and research undertakings aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and efficiency.
