History of Boredesia

Boredesia was a Micronation that started on July 25th 2022, but with a history going far back as 2016. This is a detailed, yet short form of Boredesian history.

In 2016, the Kingdom of Oakland was founded, but it was short-lived. In 2017, the kingdom was renamed Birchland. However, late that year, the government was dissolved, and Azeajin took power, establishing a socialist state. Azeajin was later renamed Azea, and the nation became Azyan, the last socialist nation. However, in 2019-2020, Azyan died from inactivity, though it still existed.

In 2021, Azeronia was formed, starting as the "First Republic Era." However, the nation was abandoned due to plagiarism, leading to the announcement of Boredesia on August 12, 2022. The CCR recognized Boredesia, and a new government was formed, along with the flag, starting the "Second Republic Era." The constitution was drafted, and in late 2022, plots to overthrow the Boredesian Government were uncovered, leading to the exilement of both people, now known as the "2022 Boredesian Coup." Threats are still constant to this day.

In 2023, multiple treaties were signed, many micronations were recognized, and the nation-idea began to be opened up completely to the public. The constitution was finally ratified, and the national anthem "God Bless Boredesia" started getting made. Boredesia joined as the 225th member of the MUN, and the "Figurora Crisis" began and ended on the same date. 

On March 23, 2023, the first-ever Provisional Government in Boredesia was set up. The "Boredesian Diplomatic Crisis" occurred on March 24-25, 2023. The Second Constitutional Convention was approved by the legislative branch on March 26-26, 2023. The nation entered its first-ever war against a Muslim terrorist organization known as the Mujahideen on April 6 and has been supporting the war ever since.

On April 9th, 2023, Boredesia officially cut diplomatic ties with Emlynia for committing human rights violations. On the same day, Boredesia entered into a meeting with the king of Newstonia, the first-ever formal meeting with another head of state. The meeting ended on good terms with mutual recognition between each other, and negotiations began to get land from Newstonia.

On April 26th, 2023, Boredesia gained 510.13 acres of land, allowing them to form provinces. The next day, a man on a piece of land decided to join Boredesia, becoming Flusan Territory, which is currently being organized. This resulted in Boredesia gaining 5 more acres of land. On April 27th, 2023, the government of Boredesia finally started making the official Boredesian website, which was released to the public the following day. On April 28th, 2023, the Boredesian government posted on a blog about the creation of the website, known as "The Boredesian Post." Finally, on April 29th, 2023, the president of Boredesia gave the first-ever speech to the public, which talked about an Emergency Decree being declared, reinstating the provisional government.

On August 13th, 2023, after realizing that slavery was still technically legal the president orders a new act to be sent to The National Assembly, known as the ALA, or the Anti-Labor Act, this new act is outlaws any form of slavery, and sets the national standard of wage, age to work within Boredesia, and how long a person can work (if underaged, this will also give them a wage if underaged).
