It is one of the oldest pubs in London and if you walk through to the back, there is still the wooden balcony, jettied into the Thames, where you can sit and enjoy a pint.

Gormley created The Angel of The North and is one of the most talented sculptors; he works in metal, figuratively and abstractly.

In the bar of the Beaufort Arms in Raglan is this lovely oil landscape, which I always admire. It looks to be by someone called Gillian Like. I've serached the name but haven't found them anywhere, yet. But I find it a beautiful and very well painted picture.
As you can see the painting is 'wedged' under a TV, so not much appreciated in itself...If you ever hear of a mystery art theft from a rural Welsh pub...
