What O-D Leaders Should Know About Responsible AI Adoption
Virtual | January 21st, 2026, 6:00 - 8:00 PM PST
Overview
Building Responsible, Ethical, and Effective AI Practices in Today’s Organizations
Description: Organizations that adopt AI without intelligent and responsible processes risk information loss, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and costly implementation cycles. This presentation and discussion will help OD professionals and talent leaders build a practical knowledge base for supporting effective adoption, including how to introduce and sustain AI initiatives in ways that enhance workforce productivity and positive customer experiences. I-O experts will also learn how to identify situations where governance is needed, recognize early signals, and effectively communicate needs to leaders, developing a working understanding of responsible AI that supports, rather than constrains productivity. Responsible AI practices will empower you to engage leaders in your organizations in positioning AI as a facilitator of employee effectiveness instead of an obligation.
What Questions Will Be Answered?
How is AI being used in the workplace and what are the practical implications of agentic and non-agentic tools?
How can organizations effectively introduce, scale, and sustain AI initiatives?
How can practitioners guide effective AI implementation cycles, and distinguish between productive use and emerging risk?
How can experts communicate the risk of unstructured AI use alongside performance and ROI benefits of responsible adoption practices?
What role can OD and I-O professionals play in shaping responsible AI adoption, influencing decision-making, and advocating for safe, effective use?
What do responsible AI practices look like today, and what early signals indicate that additional structure or governance is needed?
