Making up each colour for plastic bottles
I marked on the side where to pour up to on the side of the bottle. Pour the paint in followed by the pouring medium then a couple of drops of silicone oil. Shake to mix everything. You need 70% of pouring medium, 30% acrylic paint and a couple of drops of silicone oil. Mix as many colours as wish to use each in their own bottle. The paint when pouring should have the consistency of liquid honey.
Putting colours together ready to pour
Squeeze colours you want to use into a paper cup.
When all colours are in give a gentle stir with a wooden spatula See picture far right
Pouring
Balance canvas on top of cup with paint mixture in. Pick up canvas holding the cup in place and turn gently over. Allow time for the paint to come out of cup and onto the canvas.
This is the messy bit. You will need to tilt the canvas in one direction at a time. The paint will flow. Some off the canvas. Hence the messy bit. Eventually the whole canvas can be covered if you wish. Anything that goes onto the edges can be used as well as left over paint to cover the edges.
Use the catering blowtorch it helps to get rid of air bubbles from the stirring process and heats up the silicone oil and helps it to rise and contributes to the formation of cells. The torch should be passed gently over the paint at about 6-8in(15-20cm) away. Stand finished canvas on the cups to dry.
Drying time
It will take 3-5 days to dry properly
Experiments
In the image carousel you will see two paint pouring pictures. The third paint pouring and then dribbling individual colour down and using a tooth pick pulling through the colours and the last one allows for each colour to dry. Sky created paint pour first. The sea using left over blue and pulling across it with a tooth pick to create the waves. The paint pour for the sand. When dry used acylic paint to paint in the land horizon below the sky and beginnings of the groins. Have fun.

Acrylic paint pouring -Tanja Jung
There are many youtube sites for paint pouring. Some artists do not use silicone oil. Some instead of Liquitex pouring medium use PVA glue with water.
