Ocustraplasia (Eye abstract -plasia) or Trait Growth (much easier name to call It) Is a virus with origins from Hamabi. Trait Growth Is made of seemingly non-existent elements, making It hard to properly study, If at all. It's cause Is unknown, as there Is currently no ocrrelation between people getting the virus by interacting with infected surfaces/patients then patients who have contracted the virus. The virus has only one (or two If 0 counts) known stage currently but Is theroized to have more due to It's nature.
Ocustraplasia gets It's name from the eye-like shape It takes as well as the seemingly "abstract" way It works as well as It's effects. It tends to twist and contort, "glitch", "blink", among other movements as observed In petri-dishes and blood samples. The way It multiplies Is by growing another "iris" and the virus splitting Into two, making another virus cell. Because of the way the virus Is, there currently Is no cure/treatment whatsoever. Nothing works.
Stage 0 of infection (seemingly healthy):
Patient shows no signs of illness besides occaisonal headaces. Virus Is not traceable (or diagnosable) In this stage.
Stage 1 of infection (actual signs occur):
Patient starts getting fatuige, "traits" of patient start to show In places they aren't supposed to be. Visual and audiotory hallucions akin to psycadellic microdosing begin to make themselves present. Virus becomes traceable (and diagnosable) In this stage.
