The Cook Islands are located North east of New Zealand, between The French polynesia and American Samoa. They where found by Captain James Cook of the infamous Bounty in 1773 and then re-visited in 1777. The islands where later named after him It consists of 15 volcanic islands that are spread out over a vast area and has a rough population of 18,000 people however more than 80,000 cook Islanders are believed to have relocated to love in New Zealand
The Largest island is Rarotonga which is also the home of the capital city "Aitutaki" and consists of Rugged mountains.
The islands are surrounded by coral reefs and white sandy beaches which you can explore to your leisure.
