At Oakland Heights Farm, our guided trail rides take you through the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, an area rich in history and natural beauty. As you meander through the scenic countryside, you’ll pass Civil War campsites and historic battlegrounds. For more than 35 years, we have hosted trail rides for a wide range of occasions, including marriage proposals, birthday parties, family reunions, church groups, corporate team-building events, or simply a relaxing day in the country. Guided trail rides are available seven days a week by appointment and are open to riders six years of age and older.
