We had a great time this summer at Cowboy Camp 2025! Registration for 2026 will open in the Spring!
Cowboy Camp
June 29th - July 3rd
Oakland Heights Farm will be hosting Cowboy Camp again this year, designed for beginner through advanced beginner riders. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and even includes a cowboy picnic! It’s a wonderful opportunity for your child to spend time outdoors, experience life on a working farm, and make lasting friendships.
During cowboy camp your child will learn the key parts of a horse and tack, learn to rope like a real cowboy, and even prep for a real horse show! Fun to include a cattleworking, gymkhana games, trail rides, riding lessons, and ground-based instruction.
Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot when registration opens March 2026!

We also offer a variety of in house camp sessions that focus on building a strong base of equestrian skills as part of a fun-filled day full of new experiences. Students at Oakland Heights please reach out to Susanne 540-229-9118.
