Oakland Heights Farm is the perfect place to learn to ride—whether you’re a beginner, an experienced rider, or simply looking for a leisurely trail ride. The farm features two riding rings, charming stables, and miles of scenic trails. We offer both English and Western lessons six days a week, year-round, and trail rides are available seven days a week throughout the year. Each ride promises not only an enjoyable experience, but also beautiful countryside and a glimpse of the area’s rich history.
From April through October, we host horse shows recognized by both the VHSA and BHSA for member points. The farm offers easy trailer access and ample parking for competitors and spectators. For our more recreational riders, we also host gymkhana shows that are open to all ages, disciplines, and experience levels.
Every second Saturday from May through September, we bring the excitement with bull riding in partnership with BLM Bull and Rodeo Co. And during the winter months, we carry on tradition by fox hunting—Sally style.
