Laurel/Redwood/Leona Heights Neighborhood Council

Who we are

The Neighborhood Council (also known as Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council, or NCPC) is a group of neighbors in a police beat that gather regularly to discuss local issues of crime & safety, and implement solutions. NCPCs work in close collaboration with the City of Oakland and the Oakland Police Department solve local issues & build community.

Where we are

Based off of Oakland's Community Policing model, all of Oakland is broken up into distinct neighborhoods by Police Beats. Beat 25X covers the area between highways 580 and 13, from 35th ave until Mills College. 

When we meet

Beat 25X NCPC meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday on even numbered months at 7pm. Meetings are held both in person and over Zoom.

Meetings take place at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church (3725 High St, Oakland, CA 94619)
