1) Get the retractable belt stanchions from the room left from the entrance and bring them to the pickup site (see picture).
2) Locate the signup sheet (it can be with the doorman) and insert it in the transparent plastic sheet on the retractable belt stanchion.
3) Make sure that the instructions of the bulk-packed items (fruit and bread shares) are visible.
4) If the delivery has not arrived yet and it is close to 10:30 AM (which should not happen), inform the on-site coordinator (nyucsa2020@gmail.com).
Thank you!
1) Regarding the coolers and the retractable belt stanchions, store them in the room left to the entrance. The coolers are usually placed below the table and the stanchions in the left corner of the room.
2) Bring the empty boxes to the basement and put them on the left of the elevator (see picture).
3) Take a picture of the signup sheet and send it to the on-site coordinator (nyucsa2020@gmail.com).
4) Make sure the pickup site is left empty and clean!
Thank you!
The goal here is to not waste any food. The onsite-coordinator provides you with a list of people (communicate via Slack, donations channel) interested by the free food. However, it is also recommended for you to bring a cart in case there are several boxes left to transport upon cleanup.
1) If full boxes are left, count them, let the on-site coordinator know about it by email with a short quantitative description of what is left. (nyucsa2020@gmail.com).
2) Message the people who would be interested by the free food by letting them know what is left. You are also welcome to make a gift to your neighbors, NYU Housing staff or friends!
3) If they do not answer or the amount of food exceeds what they are willing to take, bring the leftover food to a community fridge.
Closest community fridge is at the Overthrow Boxing Gym (9, Bleecker St, 5 min away)
Thank you!
