About Northwest RISCC
Climate change and invasive species represent two major global change threats to species, habitats, and ecosystem services. The Northwest Regional Invasive Species and Climate Change (NW RISCC) Network is a partnership of regional agencies and organizations dedicated to helping practitioners address the nexus of climate change and invasive species, including plants, animals, and pathogens.
The objective of the NW RISCC Network is to help practitioners within Federal, Tribal, State, and local agencies and organizations integrate climate change science and adaptation with invasive species prevention, early detection, control, monitoring, and research activities.
Our network focuses on exploring on-the-ground management, conservation, and research needs and opportunities unique to the Northwest, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia, and neighboring states and provinces.
