Happy fall! After a fun and restful summer, Eat Right Philly is back with brand-new materials to help schools, families, and communities live their healthiest lives! Here’s a guide to the many resources we offer.
Fruit or Vegetable of the Month
Each year we feature one fruit or vegetable each month with a newsletter article, an informational video, a produce-forward recipe, and downloadable fact sheets, coloring sheets, and recipe cards. This year, all our Fruit and Vegetable of the Month videos are available in both English and Spanish!

High School Five Lesson Series
Over the summer we added recorded lessons to our High School Five Lesson Series! Available in both English and Spanish, these videos feature Eat Right Philly team members teaching each lesson in the series. These pre-recorded lessons are a great way to supplement in-person lessons, for use when you have a substitute teacher, or perhaps for asynchronous school days. You can also download slide presentations, lesson plans, and printable worksheets and activities for each lesson. If you decide to use one of these pre-recorded lessons, reach out to your Eat Right Philly educator or nep@drexel.edu or fill out this form.

Online Learning Resources
Don’t forget to check out our other nutrition lessons! We offer lessons for middle school, high school and special needs students, as well as curriculum tailored for after-school cooking clubs and adult and/or caregivers.
Movement Breaks
Research has shown that movement breaks (also referred to as brain breaks) help students of all ages to be alert, engaged and to stay focused in class. We have an archive of movement breaks from past school years, including handouts and videos to walk your students through each exercise.
Cookbooks
If you’re looking for culinary inspiration, take a look at our collection of e-cookbooks! Each mini cookbook features a curated collection of healthy recipes used by our programming staff at schools and community sites around Philadelphia.
Social Media
Do you follow Drexel Eat Right Philly on your favorite social media platform? If not, you’re missing out! We’re on Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter) posting bite-sized healthy living content 5 days a week, as well as on YouTube with lots of educational videos.
