Published in our September 2024 newsletter
As you scrolled through this month’s newsletter, chances are you noticed things looked a little different from our previous issue last June! We’re excited about these changes because they’ll make it quicker and easier to find what you’re looking for in our monthly newsletters and on our website. Here are some of the changes we’ve made.
Features: Each newsletter will begin with a short summary of the different articles that month. With just a glace you’ll see what’s most useful to you!
Read more: We’ve condensed our newsletter emails by storing the articles on our website. Click or tap the button under each feature to read the full article.
Helpful links: In addition to our social media links, we added direct links to our Fruit or Vegetable of the Month resources, contact information, and CookWith, an app to help you eat better. Find all these resources at the bottom of each newsletter!
We also spent the summer reorganizing and sprucing up our website! The updated site has a variety of helpful resources for teachers and students, families, and individuals. Here’s where you can find everything.
About: Learn about what we do, meet our team, view our site list, and get in touch with us.
Curriculum: We offer free lesson series for children and adults! Download or print full lesson plans, slide presentations, worksheets, and activities.
Tastings: Current and past Fruit and Vegetable of the Month information can be found here. Each month includes a summary, informational video, and healthy recipe!
Movement Breaks: Get kids up and moving with this archive of active brain breaks sorted by month and school year.
Healthy at Home: While we’re no longer virtual, we still have fun wellness activities to try at home. Look through recipes, movement breaks, and gardening activities.
Newsletters: We’ve been busy archiving our past newsletters. Read the latest updates or find articles from the past few years.
