What we do:
Project 7 Days of Happiness (7DOH) aims to give back and bring joy to the university’s Unsung Heroes (e.g bus drivers, cleaners, librarians - yes, even though they shush us in the library) and students. 7DOH hosts a series of events such as Appreciation Tea sessions and Drinks Dedication to thank our Unsung Heroes for their immense contribution in ensuring the daily functioning of the university.
With Appreciation being an important value of the project, we strive to initiate the first step for students to express their gratitude towards our Unsung Volunteers through various platforms. We also serve as the connecting bridge between the students and our organisation for volunteering opportunities with our sister project.
Frequency
Held once a year (Usually in Semester 2)
A short review:
"7 Days of Happiness" is about spending seven days to spread happiness around the NUS community, such as showing our appreciation to the "Unsung heroes" like our NUS bus drivers, cleaners, and librarians. It's not just the NUS community we are serving; we also go to "Red Cross Home for the Disabled" to spread our joy to them! If you are a cheerful and thankful person (or want to be one), this is the project for you!
