We pride ourselves in supporting our mentors throughout the trainee's placement, both face to face, when we undertake ISMOTs (In School Moderation, Observation & Training visits) - the formal termly observation of the trainee, and associated opportunity to discuss expectations, our curriculum and trainee progress with the mentor, and through:
The provision of a comprehensive Mentor Handbook (found here)
This website, with access to documents, videos and further reading to support our mentor's engagement and professional development
Sharing of a Weekly Training Plan throughout the trainee's placement (accompanied by the Mentor Meeting Support Slides)
Opportunities for synchronous and asynchronous training
