Mimetic Hair

This work is a video experiment that redesigns the viewpoint within the "Fallen Hair Landscape."
Through the control of vision via the camera, we explored the possibilities of how fallen hair can be observed.
By employing shifting focus, we forcibly direct the viewer's gaze toward the fallen hair.
This purposeless act of "searching for fallen hair" becomes a site for observing an unfamiliar aspect of the hair, bringing into consciousness its materiality and its relationships with surrounding objects.
