Shed unconsciously, hairs accumulate in a room, unnoticed.
The "static form" of a fallen hair that we discover is the result of countless minute movements driven by gravity, air currents, and friction against objects.
We attempted to imaginatively trace the unobserved time and motion of the hair, aiming to depict its existence not as a "static object," but as an "event".
To visualize this movement imaginatively, we replaced the structure of the room with that of a pinball machine, making the hair's motion observable.
This work serves as a simulation to observe the movement of fallen hair from a bird's-eye view. The trajectories of hairs drifting into various corners of the world illustrate how a single strand, separated from the human body, interacts with its environment.
Released from the scalp, a hair collides with walls, floors, and furniture.
It bounces, halts, and moves once more.
Using fallen hair as a medium, this work re-examines the minute movements and relationships we usually overlook.
