This work is an attempt to reconsider the relationship between fallen hair and the environment that receives it. Typically, when we see fallen hair, we immediately recognize it as trash. However, does this judgment truly derive from the fallen hair itself? In reality, it is the context of the background receiving it that dictates whether the hair should be eliminated.

In the video, a single strand of fallen hair remains perfectly still. It is only the background behind it that shifts. As the backgrounds are swapped out in the manner of paper theater, the black line which was once a shunned foreign object near a pillow or sink eventually transforms into a part of nature on asphalt or amidst grass and soil.
