Sharon Brannick
Sharon Brannick, President of DKG Nu Gamma, encourages us with a reminder, “The more you are involved, the more you will get out of our chapter.” Sharon is a charter member of Nu Gamma since 2016. She knew of Delta Kappa Gamma International Society’s esteemed reputation from her aunt, a proud member in Louisiana and now in Maine.
When she’s not learning from our Society members, Sharon prefers hiking in the mountains or taking photos on a beach. Sharon and her husband, Jim, moved to Wylie from Louisiana in 2006. They have reared three handsome and talented young men, the youngest two are twins.
As Sharon learns to adjust to life as an empty nester, she has taken up a few new hobbies and has moved from Wylie to Royce City ISD to teach 5th-grade science. Her enduring career has taught her the value of building relationships with staff and students. She has learned not to take student behavior personally. She reminds us that personal boundaries are important and it is okay to say no. We know Sharon as dedicated and patient.
We encourage you to ask her about her new crocheting
hobby and special physical talent.
