All awarded students will be issued a student ID.
This ID provides access to the library, all sports facilities, your dormitory, and faculty buildings. Additionally, the student ID functions as a rechargeable payment card that can be used at most stores and restaurants in Taiwan. It also serves as a transportation card for buses, trains, high-speed rail, intercity buses, and metro systems.
There are three major student restaurants on campus: XiaoChiBu, ShuiMu and FungYunLou.
Students with a limited budget are recommended dining at the student restaurants rather than dining outside the campus.

All foreign students will have priority to be assigned a space in on-campus dormitories. Multiple types of rooms are available for graduate students to choose from. For undergraduate students, 4-person rooms are available. Foreign students can submit applications to the Division of Student Housing. A housing notification will be sent to you prior to your arrival. Rooms with air-conditioning also involve extra utility fees.
