3. The coordinator at your home institution will recommend candidates to NTHU.
4. NTHU will evaluate the qualification of the applicants and interview all qualified candidates.
5. The awarded students will receive an admission notification from NTHU.
Awarded students must apply for a resident visa for studying Mandarin if their duration of stay in Taiwan exceeds 90 days.
Required documents for application include:
✧ Application form (Complete the application of Bureau of Consular Affairs and then print it out: https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw/BOCA_EVISA/)
✧ Passport and one photocopy of the passport (The passport must be valid for at least 6 months)
✧ Two 2-inch ID photos that are taken with 6 months
✧ Original and one photocopy of health certificate
✧ Study plan (motivations of study should be included)
NTHU will provide the following files:
✧ Admission letter
✧ Scholarship certification
✧ Entry permit (required during the pandemic)
Please have the above documents prepared and directly fill in the application form online. Interviews will be held by Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Offices (TECO) in your home country (location can be selected while filling out the application form).
