The Alpha Rho Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated (NSPDK), was chartered on May 11, 1950 by a visionary group of educators committed to promoting educational excellence and youth development. The founding charter members, Pearl Hall, Murhl Eubanks, Inez Montgomery, Jimmy Dunlap, Lillie Richardson, Katie Jeffries, R.C. Thrash, Armetia Pinkston, Margaret Sewing, Gladys Collins, and Gladys Mayo, laid the foundation for a legacy of service and leadership.

Our chapter is proud to offer scholarships, host workshops, and organize cultural enrichment activities that benefit both members and the broader community.
