October 1-4 Week 9
Monday, October 1- We will review the fashion board outline assignment. The fashion board is story board for their summer/spring collections for the fashion show May 4th. The board will reflect their inspiration, designs, fabric swatches, and color palette. Ms. Peña will place a pattern order today. I will go to www.sewcoolinschool.com to select my first pattern for the spring/summer collection. STUDIO: I will complete sewing the hem and zipper on the sample skirt.
Wednesday, October 3- NO SCHOOL
Thursday, October 4: Today we will research current trends, inspiration, and start sketching designs for the fashion board. I will continue working at home and complete the research and inspiration.
October 8-11 Week 10
Monday, October 8- We will complete the research and inspiration for the fashion boards. End of the quarter. Please check in with all your teachers.

October 15-18 Week 11
Monday, October 15- We will share the research on current trends. I will start designing sketches for my spring/summer collections. My goal today is to complete 3 designs by the end of class. HOMEWORK: Fabric swatches and Color swatches.
Wednesday, October 17- I will continue sketching designs for the fashion board.
Thursday, October 18- I will complete the remaining 3 sketches for the fashion board. HOMEWORK: I will cut pattern at home. Due Monday 10/22/18
October 22-25 Week 12
Monday, October 22- We will work on competing the fashion boards. I will layout out; sketches, inspiration, fabric swatches, and color swatches on board. Homework: I will review sewing instructions and summarize.
Wednesday, October 24- I will finalize the final composition on the board and glue.
Thursday, October 25- I will present my fashion board to the class. Due Now: Fashion Boards 100 points
