From the ADS - April 2024

Welcome all!

If you aren’t yet a member of the American Daylily Society, we’d like to share a link to the newest issue of Daylilies in the Great Northeast that comes out electronically twice a year as one of the benefits of an AHS membership.

In this issue you’ll hear from our Leadership Team and find the list of display gardens that you could visit this summer.  You’ll find a list of clubs in your area who’d love to have you visit their sale.  Read the club reports to find out when you could attend a meeting.   Consider attending or participating in one of the two judged daylily exhibitions being held in the region this summer (LIDS and NEDS).  We’ve included info about the CanAm event in Toronto.  You’ll also find info about the Hybridizer Award and Region 4 photo contest.  Read about the newest ADS Display Garden (Lis Murphy’s garden in MA) and the history for the LIDS Display Garden on Long Island.  Test your daylily knowledge in the quiz from Sue Bergeron.  Read about the daylily question that was posed to AI (artificial intelligence).
