This project examines the overstimulation of Generation Alpha and the effects of excessive, low-quality digital content on a child’s mind.
Children today are constantly exposed to fragmented information such as memes, AI-generated sounds, viral trends, and online noise, leading to mental overload that can influence their emotional stability, behavior, and future development.
This project takes the form of an A5 zine where each page represents a different layer of a Generation Alpha child’s mind. The pages are filled with crowded to reflect digital overload and mental clutter. Cut-out awareness messages appear throughout the zine but remain loose and disconnected, symbolizing how meaningful ideas struggle to settle when a child’s mind is overfed with unnecessary information.
Using an overprinting as a key technique, allowing the layout to shift and collide across pages. By experimenting with saturation and opacity, the prints create blurred and layered effects that mirror information overload.
