YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY
Christian Education
Believing that all people, regardless of age, should learn God's word, the Christian Education program focuses on all ages of the congregation. Northminster Presbyterian Church has its Sunday School program during our regular 10 AM Worship period Sunday mornings. Our program focus on Bible stories that are familiar and there is emphasis on special holidays such as Christmas and Lent. There are also active Junior and Senior high classes that occasionally join with the congregation for worship.
Our CHILDRENS CLASSES are designed to acquaint our young members with a wide range of stories in both the Old and New Testaments. The program also includes special projects, including crafts and drama.
Our YOUTH CLASSES involve Bible study, learning about our worship service, and other topics of interest to young people. All are encouraged to take an active role in the classroom.
Our JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH classes are focused on a wide range of topics from Bible study to discussions of current events. Our goal is to create a Christian learning environment in which they can grow.
