Library Vision, Mission, and Objectives

VISION

The Library envisions a resource-rich learning environment for vibrant learners who are reflective, resourceful, and responsible users of information and ideas.

MISSION

The mission of the Library is the provision of resources and support services for the different learning needs of students, in order to aid in their development toward becoming information-literate, effective users of knowledge, and becoming lifelong independent learners.

OBJECTIVES

As one of the main hearts of the institution, the library’s primarily function is its being center of the democratic access to the right information at the right time with the least cost. Specially, the NCC library services are meant to:

1. Provide varied, well-organized, and relevant reference materials to the instructional, research, extension, and production programs of the College;

2. Provide appropriate place and facilities for work, study, and quality entertainment to the College community;

3. Encourage continuous self-education and the development of transformational inspiration through appropriate settings and excellent library holdings.
