THE NCC LIBRARY

The free and responsible flow of information is indispensable for genuine democracy to prosper toward social and national development. Since it is through the library that organized information comes forth for the dissemination and utilization, the library is sometimes referred to as the heart of the institution.

With NCC’s expressed raison d’etre, The Institution for Better Life, It is essential that a dynamic and quality library system to continually developed and sustained in support of the Institution’s mission as carried out by its programs and activities. These programs and activities are geared toward quality and relevant instruction, research, extension, and quality entertainment, these being the basic functions of higher education.

Such library system necessarily employs competent staff and maintains appropriate facilities in order to provide access by the institution’s constituency and general community to the formally recorder information, intellectual, cultural, and experiential wisdom of civilization accumulated throughout the centuries. Thus, the NCC library motto is: Democratic access to the right information for better education and nation-building.
