Developing Nostalgic melt in improvised live mixing : smeared fades, tear stained photos, blurring till the buffer is full, 4 layers of scanned vintage postcards from my growing collection sourced in Hastings loaded into VDMX VJ software as muliple layers from Photoshop.

Sound reaction / audio analysis play through using Blackhole in the Mac Mini M1. Music by myself Token Girl and Bernie Love in our Per Diem collaboration from an album we created in 2017 'Scaffolders Lament' which delivered the haunting mood for this solo installation in 2023.

I was commissioned to make a music video for a unique piano composition by Brendan Pickett, like silent movie in 10 minutes which suited my style and added augmented reality of his Lego with a very tiny video playing his visuals in a 'TinyTv' to further explore scales and versions of reality

I scanned 100s of postcards and vintage photos of people I do not know for the show, now I am using them as composite layers in digital collages for scenes that do not exist but are made up of local icons, past inhabitants and current reality.
