About Us

NNEFARO

Ham radio operators enjoy many types of operating. One of the most fun is when you are working with buddies in the outdoors. Whether you prefer a hard core hike up a mountain, or a leisurely cookout where some radio operating breaks out... this is the group for you!

Northern New England Field Amateur Radio Operators is super laid back, and exists to facilitate Ham radio operators in getting outside.

The Club QSL Card

The crew labored long and hard on the logo. We thought the "poem of NNEFARO" was perfect for the front of the card. The poem explains a lot about us, where we came from... and where we're going. We look forward to trading QSL cards with you!

The poem of NNEFARO:

“It came without generators, it came without loggers. It came without towers, tri-banders, or remote SDR'-ers. Maybe Field Day doesn’t come from a large committee. Maybe Field Day perhaps can be just a little bit less.”
