STALLION Dance Company TRYOUTS
Everything you need to know!
Season 3 : 2026–2027
Welcome to the official tryout page for the Stallion Dance Company at Null Middle School!
⚠️ Important Note:
All current 2025–2026 7th grade SDC members must re-audition for the new season.
New applicants may audition for SQUAD LEADER positions only, unless there are not enough veterans striving for captain roles. The number of officers and company members selected is based on the Director’s discretion and will vary each season. We value quality over quantity.
Joining SDC is an extra- curricular activity, not a requirement. Committing to this company means you are choosing to add us to your daily responsibilities for the full school year. Starting Summer 2026, all selected dancers (leadership and company members) must attend mandatory summer dance camps both on and off campus. Yes, this may seem like a lot, but so is dancing in high school and beyond. We’re preparing our students to become the future of this art form.

Coach Parker’s Expectations
Coach Parker is not looking for perfection, she’s looking for growth, consistency, and work ethic. She wants to see students push themselves daily during prep week, show up with energy, and dance full-out even when unsure.
Team spirit matters. Cheering each other on, staying respectful during the process, not talking and off-task, being in the set attire, and keeping a positive attitude shows maturity and readiness.
Most importantly, showmanship is everything. The audience should feel the emotion and energy in every move, especially your face. Go online to watch high school and college dance teams perform. Practice dancing in the mirror for an entire song with a smile on your face. Even the best dancers will not be chosen without showmanship.
And finally, Coach Parker can mold a dancer with zero experience, if they’re willing to commit to learning, understands what constructive criticism and corrections mean, can keep a positive attitude, and grow through discipline. It’s about attitude, not just ability.
Apply
All applications must be submitted through an official SDC Google Form.
There are no virtual auditions unless there's a verified emergency, and even then, only Coach Parker can determine if the student remains eligible. Please do not remove your dancer from tryouts for non-urgent reasons.
She/He will no longer be eligible for a spot on the team.
