PSAT 8/9

The PSAT 8/9 will be administered at Newberry Middle School on Thursday, October 26, 2023

The Preliminary SAT is a standardized assessment that prepared students for the SAT, an assessment that many colleges require for admission.  We offer the PSAT 8/9 to students in grades 8 and 9 and then offer the PSAT/NMSQT in Grade 10.  All students in the State of SC have the option of taking the SAT or ACT free of charge in the 11th grade.  Newberry County prides itself in preparing our students for post-secondary education.
