WE ARE BUILDING A STATEWIDE HOUSING PLAN FOR NEW MEXICO!
WE ARE BUILDING A STATEWIDE HOUSING PLAN FOR NEW MEXICO!
The New Mexico Housing Plan is a statewide effort to develop practical, evidence-informed recommendations that maintain and expand access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for all New Mexicans. We need your help!
This plan is being developed through a combination of community engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and data-driven research. Throughout the process, we are gathering ideas and experiences through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and conversations with housing providers, local governments, tribal communities, service organizations, developers, advocates, and residents across New Mexico. We are also reviewing existing research and housing data to ensure that community priorities are supported by the best available evidence.
The first draft of the New Mexico Statewide Housing Plan is here, and we want to hear from you!
After months of research, community outreach, and input from partners and stakeholders across the state, we have completed the first draft of a comprehensive housing and homelessness policy framework for New Mexico. Now it's time for the most important step: hearing what you think.
We invite community members, advocates, policymakers, and anyone who cares about housing in New Mexico to read the draft and share your feedback. Your input will directly shape the final plan.
