Housing Summits:

The 100% New Mexico Statewide Housing & Homelessness Mini-Summit, held May 14–15, 2026, brought together more than 50 Community Housing Action Team leaders and housing stakeholders from 11 New Mexico counties. Participants discussed housing and homelessness challenges, policy barriers, investment needs, and opportunities for collaboration. Their hundreds of ideas were reviewed and organized into seven draft statewide housing priorities. These priorities are not final recommendations; they are the starting point for further community engagement, research, surveys, interviews, and data analysis.

1) Community Housing Stability & Displacement

2) Housing Affordability for the Greatest Need

3) Revitalizing Vacant Properties

4) Building More Homes

5) Supporting Older Adults

6) Housing Leadership & Coordination

7) Strengthening Rural Housing Capacity
