This presentation will enhance the delegates’ knowledge in leading treatment options for the management of Long-COVID.
The information will include the mechanism behind the latest approaches, allowing delegates to advance their health and wellness learning for long-COVID as well as be applicable to future, novel health conditions.
By providing the mechanisms behind multiple treatment options, delegates will also learn potential ways to modify their current clinical choices to increase efficacy.
Long-COVID effects somewhere between 3-45% of New Zealanders. That equates to 150,000 – 2,250,000 people living with symptoms; people in need of natural health support. I feel naturopaths and medical herbalists are critical to effectively manage the health of those living in Aotearoa.
Past 12 Months Long-COVID Treatments Review
- Research currently available.
-Overview of approaches being trialed in 2024 by the world's top natural health providers (NZ, AU, US).
- The science, reasons and clinical relevance behind these approaches.
Presenting this material to our local natural healthcare leadership will:
- Providing a starting place for more practitioners to create efficient and effective wellness approaches within their own practices.
- Reinforcing the concept that formal sharing of the latest info for treating novel diseases is the only way to deal with the likely prospect of new health conditions appearing at an increasing rate moving forward.
- It is likely that these conditions will require natural health options due to our ability to pivot quickly enough to be effective in improving health.
- Patent-based pharmaceutical paradigms will not be able to address the needs in the future due to patents requiring years of safety trials before release.
- Natural health has centuries of wisdom and thousands of medicines with known/proven safety parameters to pull from.
