I’m a proud Jersey native whose educational journey has been shaped by meaningful experiences both in and outside the classroom. From studying abroad in Zimbabwe in undergrad to managing a coffeehouse in Nashville during graduate school (back when the Titans first came to town!), I’ve always sought opportunities that blend culture, community, and learning.
My career began as a middle school language arts teacher, which sparked a passion for literacy and instructional practice. Over time, I transitioned into roles as a teacher trainer and instructional technology coach, helping educators build confidence and capacity in using tech to enhance learning. Eventually, I moved into K–12 leadership for close to 15 years, currently serving as a proud principal of a public performing arts elementary school.
I’m particularly interested in designing meaningful professional learning experiences for adults—especially educators—and exploring how we can utilize technology in thoughtful, effective ways to support teaching and learning. As I look ahead, I’m excited to explore opportunities in the nonprofit sector, education policy, or higher education where I can continue to advocate for innovation, equity, and teacher empowerment.
