NJ DREAM ELITE IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL COACHING STAFF!
"What sets NJ Dream apart is the way I view development.
I believe Dream is rooted in connection, balance, and development from the top down. As the founder, I understand that there is always room to improve, and I hold myself and the organization to that same standard that I ask of our athletes.
When a kid comes into Dream, I want to be able to recognize their potential, no matter how high that potential may be. I don’t want to define a player by what they can’t do right now. Instead, I want to identify what they already do well, highlight those strengths, and create a plan to help them improve in the areas where they have room to grow.
Our focus isn’t simply on how many tournaments we can win today. Winning and competition are important, but I believe the bigger question is: How can we use this game and the tools it teaches to positively impact the future of every kid we interact with?
Basketball is extremely important to me. It has been a source of purpose, connection, and even therapy in my own life. But I’m also aware that basketball isn’t forever, no matter how far a player takes it.
That’s why my focus is on developing well-rounded, empathetic, confident, and productive young people. I want the lessons they learn through basketball—discipline, accountability, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and how to handle both success and adversity—to stay with them long after their playing days are over.
Youth sports has become a growing business, and today, almost anyone can put together a team. Because of that, I encourage families to look beyond the name on the jersey, the number of tournaments a team plays, or how many trophies they have.
Ask what the organization values. Ask why it exists. Ask what kind of environment your child will be growing in.
Ultimately, the right program is the one that aligns with your family’s values, because the organization you choose will have an impact on your child—whether that impact is positive or negative.
At NJ Dream, I want that impact to be positive.
My goal isn’t just to develop better basketball players. It’s to use basketball as a vehicle to help develop better people.”
