At just four years old, my world was rocked when my dad experienced (and luckily survived) both a stroke and a heart attack on the same day; life-changing events caused by obesity. Though he's much healthier now, that moment shaped the rest of my life.
I channeled my fear into movement, a love of learning, and resilience: I became a dancer at 4, a runner at 6, a martial artist by 8, and a tennis player at 10. Yoga found me at 13 and my mat became my sanctuary. In high school, I competed in varsity track and played volleyball on the weekends, and by 19, I was training in pursuit of competing in a bikini bodybuilding competition. Nowadays, I'm easily found on the mat or hiking with my dog. I am also team mom for my boyfriend's volunteer football team.
Driven to understand the science behind wellness, I briefly studied Food Science at Rutgers University and continued the path of my education with certifications in personal training (American Council on Exercise), nutrition for athletic performance, and behavior-based coaching. In 2023, I earned my RYT-200 and completed an additional 50 hours of comprehensive training (Aura Wellness Center, Boston, MA). I've also completed prenatal and postnatal yoga coursework with the Yoga Education Institute (Los Angeles, CA), and I'll begin my advanced certification toward the RPYT credential soon.
Through every discipline I've studied and practiced (sports, functional fitness, bodybuilding, nutrition, yoga, herbalism, etc), I've stayed commited to helping others find freedom in their bodies and peace in their minds. My approach combines movement, mindfulness, and science-backed guidance to support holistic transformation at any stage of life.
