Traction on Demand reached out to create a tailored sustainable training for their global Sales and Marketing teams to be trained on the new Salesforce Interface when the company went live in October 2021. After conducting a thorough needs analysis, and understanding the learner types, I chose to deliver instructor-led and recorded webinars of the training with different job aids to provide additional support. To ensure the learners were understanding the content and applying the new knowledge within their sandbox environments, I created an asynchronous activity in Salesforce for each learner to demonstrate their understanding. These activities were reviewed by the managers of each team to ensure learners completed the training successfully.
The Sales team had variations of the training tailored to each role. For example, the Business Development Representatives had a separate training compared to the Account Executives and Channel Partners. The differentiation in tailoring the training, allowed for different learning objectives to be obtained simultaneously.
