Project Liftoff reached out to create and deliver a 12 week sales curriculum that will provide new entry level job seekers with the right knowledge and tool kit to launch a career in Sales. When developing this training, I implemented backwards design starting with the learning objectives and goals, and then built the content to support these goals. The reason for this type of design is to ensure the learners gained the practical and technical knowledge and skills to transition into an entry level Sales career.
The classes were held weekly in a flipped classroom approach, where all the content for each week will be posted in Google Classroom the week prior. It was the learners responsibility to review the materials prior to coming to class, and complete assignments weekly. The class was designed through PowerPoint, where it summarized the content from the material, and had various activities of engagement. The in-person class time was focused on extending what they learned, provided opportunities to connect their experiences to the content, and share with their peers to enhance their learning.
Variety of multimedia such as videos within Instructor-led slides
Activities include discussions, mind mapping, and presentations
As part of the flipped classroom model, learners must complete Salesforce Trailhead modules outside of class time to complete certification.
During week 5 of Customer Experience, we focused on completing a customer journey map as a class on Miro for the learners to understand the theoretical concepts in practice.
