The Ministry of Human Resource Development, (MHRD) CTE/DST/MIT/State Govts. Are well associated with the ISTE for programs relating to technical education. ISTE Students' Chapter MITS organizes different technical events throughout the year for the development of technical and thought -provoking skills as well as enhancement of creativity of the students. Various events like 'Gyanotri ‘quiz competition, poster making, extempore, Paper presentation Web Design.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Marketing & Promotion Strategies,

• Event Day Management,

• Briefing, Team coordination ,Annual Event Planning, Budget Planning,

• Understanding the need of the competition and Plan accordingly,

Introduction:

The Turf Society was Founded in 2011 by. Anshul Srivastava (Assistant Project Manager JLL New Delhi ), Abhishek Rai (Electrical Engg Punj Lloyd, Qatar UAE ), and Co- Founder Nitesh Dogne.

TURF is a body of the students, by the students and for the students, responsible for conducting personality development and allied academic activities in the MITS, Gwalior Hostel Campus for the upliftment of the Student Community.

Aim:

The aim to form such an organization was to uplift the academic standard and develop a competitive environment within the campus so that students can come up with capabilities other than academics which on other hand will enhance their skills which will help them elsewhere in the future.

Benefits:

The following benefits will be availed by the students being members of TURF.

Development of literary, management, and communication skills through its various activities.

Participation in various seminars /workshops on topics relevant to technical education, computer education programs, and Personality development.

under supervision of Dean Student Welfare Prof.Dr.Abhay Mishra In DSW, I Conducted Dozens of National and college-level activities. 

Convener & Statistical Manager 15th to 17th April 2013 "Cenarius - Switch to Green 2013" a National Level Technical cum Cultural Fest from Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, Gwalior India, The national competition brought the brightest students and professionals in the country to claim INR 5, 00,000 in prizes. 'Techfest' enjoys the patronage of GAIL INDIA is Asia's Maharatna Company science and technology, there were 5,000 plus people were attended.
