(1) Electronic Properties of 2D and 2D/2D heterostructure Integrated Materials:

Through this project our objective is to explore the electronic properties of the 2D/2D heterostructure materials that are un explored. n- and p-type materials will be stacked together to design the new type and new functionality materials which will perform superior to the pristine individual materials. p-n junction materials with high ON/OFF current ratio are prone for the energy efficient electronic applications. Several materials will be grown and stacked them to form the heterostructure and we will explore the lateral as well as vertical transport properties using various gating effect. Through this work our aim is to understand the interface properties of different 2D systems that lead to the interesting results.
