Vision of the Proposed Research:

Welcome to our New Collaborative Research Initiative between Jackson State University, University of Mississippi and Argonne National Laboratory.

Our goal of this project is to Explore, Understand and Execute Interface Properties of Heterostructure Materials Systems between Two-dimensional (2D) materials and 3D Diamond films, 0D QDs and 2D hybrid heterostructure and 2D-2D heterostructure by electrical, optical and magnetic measurements. These study will guide to develop energy efficient optoelectronic devices.

Funding Support: DOE: DE-SC0024072

Experimental Condensed Matter Physics (ECMP)

We are very thankful to the Department of Energy (DOE) for providing this wonderful opportunity to explore basic science in one of the most exciting field of research.
