We invite submissions to a workshop on experimental research investigating semantic and pragmatic meaning to be held at the Leibniz-Centre for General Linguistics in Berlin (17th-19th July). The workshop is connected to the Emmy Noether project on ‘Scales in language processing and acquisition: Semantic and pragmatic contributions to implicature computation’ awarded to Nicole Gotzner (https://sites.google.com/view/nicolegotzner/emmy-noether-project). 


Topics of particular relevance to the workshop include theory-guided experimental work on degrees, scales, adjective meaning, alternatives, subjectivity, pragmatic inferences and social meaning. Submissions should relate to one or more of the following research questions:

Abstracts should be no longer than one page (Arial 11pt) with an additional page for figures, tables and references.
